Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy – Fable Experiences

If you wish to cancel your trip/trek, you must notify us in writing via email. Once we receive your cancellation request, the applicable charges will be calculated on the total cost of the trip/trek as per the schedule below:

  • 40+ days before departure → 10% cancellation charges
  • 21 to 40 days before departure → 25% cancellation charges
  • 11 to 20 days before departure → 40% cancellation charges
  • 1 to 10 days before departure → 90% cancellation charges

Important Notes:

  • Cancellation requests received on Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next official working day.
  • The booking amount is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Refunds (if applicable) are considered only if the full trip/trek amount has been paid in advance, and as per the timeline mentioned above.

Rescheduling Policy – Fable Experiences

We understand that travel plans may change. If you would like to reschedule your trip/trek instead of canceling:

  • Fixed Group Departures: Rescheduling is possible only if seats are available in another upcoming group of the same trip/trek.
  • Private / Customized Trips: Rescheduling can be managed by adjusting dates and arrangements, subject to availability and additional costs (if any).

Rescheduling Request Timeline:

  • National Trips → At least 15 days before departure
  • International Trips → At least 30 days (1 month) before departure

Any rescheduling request made after the above timelines will be treated as a cancellation and charged accordingly.

Refund Timeline

  • All eligible refunds will be processed within 7 working days (1 week) from the date of approval.
  • Refunds will be credited to the same account/wallet used for payment.
  • In case of third-party services (flights, trains, buses, hotels, permits, etc.), the refund timeline will depend on the respective vendor policies.

No Show & Early Exit Policy

  • If a participant fails to join (No Show) at the starting point of the trip/trek, no refund will be provided.
  • If a participant chooses to leave the trip/trek midway (personal, medical, or otherwise), no refund or adjustment will be applicable for the unused portion.
  • Any additional expenses due to an early exit will be borne solely by the participant.

Third-Party Services Disclaimer

Fable Experiences may assist you in booking third-party services such as trains, Volvo buses, flights, or permits for your convenience. However:

  • Fable Experiences acts only as a facilitator for such bookings.
  • In case of cancellations, rescheduling, delays, or changes made by the third-party vendor, Fable Experiences will not be held responsible.
  • Any claims, refunds, or adjustments must be made directly with the respective vendor, as per their terms and conditions.
